Every Woman Should Have the Ability to Maintain Her Dignity

The lack of access to menstrual health products for people who are either homeless or low-income is appalling. These necessary products are not covered by SNAP or any other welfare program.  Each month, this leaves countless people without the products many of us take for granted.

Our Mission

To provide hygiene products to homeless or low-income people and to the students who need them.

Our Vision

To raise awareness of the problem so that personal hygiene supplies are more accessible and affordable, regardless of income.

Our Values

Friends of Aunt Flo restores dignity and human value to homeless and low-income girls and women who miss out on daily life because they lack access to proper hygiene supplies.

Meet Ashley Jones - Director of Friends of Aunt Flo

A self-proclaimed “Mama Bear”, Ashley Jones has a heart and passion for helping everyone, especially those who often feel unloved and overlooked. Because of God’s grace, compassion, and unconditional love for her, she knows that it’s her responsibility in life to “pay it forward” through prayers, friendship, and providing basic needs like food, clothing, and hygiene supplies to those in need. In Clarksville, Tennessee, women are missing school, work, and important life events, not to mention risking illness and infection, due to lack of clean feminine hygiene products. This should not be happening and Ashley is determined to do her part in stopping this epidemic by collecting and distributing items to schools, other charitable organizations, and individuals in our community. When Ashley is not playing the role of “Tampon Fairy”, you can find her hanging with her ridiculously amazing family, playing in the kitchen, or looking for an animal or baby to snuggle!
