Friends of Aunt Flo Launches New Website

CLARKSVILLE, TN – March 5, 2020 – Ashley Jones , Director of Friends of Aunt Flo, invites visitors to explore their new website. The new website has been designed to offer the ultimate user-friendly experience with simplified navigation and functionality.

Friends of Aunt Flo is an organization (paperwork being submitted as 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity) with a mission of restoring dignity and hope to the many homeless and low income girls and women in the Clarksville, TN area.

All homeless people share the same struggles and the stigma that surrounds them. But for teen girls and women, homelessness serves up some unique challenges only they know. For homeless women, coping with their monthly periods can be a nightmare.

Most homeless shelters don’t receive funds to buy personal hygiene products for women and even though the homeless may be helped by government assistance programs, these programs don’t cover pads and tampons.

Ashley Jones helped organize Friends of Aunt Flo and she sincerely believes – “Because of God’s grace, compassion, and unconditional love for her, she knows that it’s her responsibility in life to “pay it forward” through prayers, friendship, and providing basic needs like food, clothing, and hygiene supplies to those in need.”
